Emily Krause is a Brooklyn-based playwright and songwriter originally hailing from Portland, Oregon. She was a 2018-2021 Playwright-in-Residence at the Exquisite Corpse Company, where she collaboratively developed and wrote two projects. Her plays have been read and/or developed with Exquisite Corpse Company, the Tank, the Great Plains Theatre Conference, the Hearth, and the Playwriting Collective. Her plays include: Zoetrope (cowriter and music @ Exquisite Corpse Company, NY Times Critic’s Pick), Do you think about me, too? (Whitman College), Are You Happy Now? (Playwrights Horizons Theater School), Throughoutiveness (IRT 3B Developmental Series), Water, Water, Everywhere... (cowriter and music @ Exquisite Corpse Company), and Something for the Fish (Center for Performance Research, Great Plains Theatre Conference).
